Safe and Trained supports football clubs and organisations across the UK with their spectator safety training, from qualifying Level 2 stewards through to working closely with Safety Officers to comply with the Green Guide and the regulatory requirements for their Level 4 qualification. Clients include Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Sheffield Wednesday, Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham, Blackburn and Bristol City, among others.
We have also run table top exercises to test multi-agency responses before events, attended Safety Advisory Group meetings, written event plans and procedures, and supported traffic management planning and training for London 2012 and Glasgow 2014.
The Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (Green Guide), published by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority, expects the Safety Officer at a designated sports ground to be competent and appropriately qualified, and certifying authorities commonly specify the Level 4 Spectator Safety Management qualification in the safety certificate. The Diploma is the recognised route to demonstrating that competence.
